Welcome in Marseille

Dear Israeli  ​friends,

We are very happy that your congress  is  in Marseille.
Marseille is  in the 2022 greatest places list of  Time Magazine.
Marseille is also  famous  for its amazing  Calanques. 

Mucem and  new born Grotte Cosquer are worth to visit , you can go there easily walking from the Congress location.

After the museum, you can walk to the biggest mall in the city : les Terrasses du Port.

Walking to the Mucem, do not miss the world cheapest cruise  to cross the  Vieux Port with the Ferry boat. The  bus boat going  from Vieux-Port to la Pointe Rouge or L'Estaque is also iconic.

Shabbat "ki Tavo" 

​Initially an AO friend had offered her house to welcome us but finally she will be absent.

I learned 10 days ago that 30 Israeli friends will participate in this Shabbat.

Another solution had to be found. Most of the reknown  hotels do not accept a  caterer. 

​In Marseille, it is not possible to have a kosher caterer in such a short time.

The only possible choice was the Chabad on the sea 15 minutes walk from your hotels. The atmosphere is warm and the food very tasty. For those who wish, it will be possible Shabbat noon to go to the Great Synagogue of Marseille, 30 mn walk from Sofitel. You can also come back to Habad 13007 for office and meal.

Important : all people who have registered on Professor Yael Youri-Haddad's list  are our guests and there are no fees.

From now,  others  have until Wednesday to register for sure : the fees are 70 euros per person and 45 euros for a student.
